(Infographic) Courts, Scotiabank Voted Best of Jamaica in Customer Service

Jamaicans are always venting about poor customer service but how do we really rank the service delivery local companies offer? Rate Ur Jamaica conducted an online survey from December 29 to January 10 asking participants to choose the best customer service provider from six categories.

With a whopping 44% of the votes, Courts beat out the competition as the leading appliance/furniture retail outlet in customer service. In distant second with 18% was ATL, followed by Bashco Trading Co. (17%) and Singer (15%).

The next big customer service winner was Scotiabank with 36%, while NCB took second place with 20%. In the category that some may argue has the most customer service shortcomings, Flow edged out Digicel by a single percentage point to take the title of best utility company in customer service. Flow scored 27%, while Digicel polled 26%. LIME was next with 16% followed by Jamaica Public Service (JPS) with 12%. NWC received 7% of the votes.

The supermarket chains of MegaMart and PriceSmart tied for best customer service from a supermarket, each gaining 25% of the votes. The Jamaican fast food chain Island Grill edged ahead with 19%, followed closely by Burger King and Wendy’s which each polled 18% of the votes.
